Best Free PC Security Suite

after using ZoneAlarm Security Suite, the updating time had made me sick. everytime i get connected to the net, it'd take a min or so to update, and it seems i can't stop that from happening.

in desperation to improve performance, i'm letting go of ZoneAlarm and plugging in some free and recommended PC security software. maybe i'll update this post with my performance findings with this new configuration later.
